View Full Version : Shows That Had 2 or More Seasons That Began and Ended in the Same Decade

For this thread, even one half of the season CANNOT be from a different decade. for example Boy Meets World (1993-2000). That doesn't count because it ended outside of the 90s. The same goes for the beginning of the series. That's just to make this a little tougher. ;)

NewsRadio (1995-1999)
Wings (1990-1997)
Ellen (1994-1998)
Chico and the Man (1974-1978)
The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966)
I Love Lucy (1951-1957)
Reno 911! (2003-2009)
The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968)

That's just to name a few. You, of course, can add the rest.

I'm counting it since it did officially begin airing in the year 1990. But it is a close one.

And you're right, Wings debuted in the 1990 half of the 1989-90 season.

And would the 1980-81 incarnation of Sanford and Son called "Sanford" count since it debuted mid-season of the 1979-80 season on January of 1980 and ran until the srping of 1981?

And Seinfeld's another iffy one, since the pilot initially was filmed in the very tail end of the '80s and the regular series debuted in May 1990 in the spring season of the 1989-90 season?
