Writers/Producers? (and memorable moment)

I loved this show--very hip and years ahead of its time. Does anyone know who did the writing on it?

I remember very little of it, but one of my favorite sight gags was an unexpected twist on a fashion cliché: Paula comes out of the bedroom wearing only a man's pajama top; then Dick comes out of the bedroom wearing only a man's pajama TOP also!

It was one of my favorites back then as well. I just checked at IMDb but no writing or producing credits listed. Jay Sandrich and Leonard Stern directed.

Wasn't David Cassidy's father Jack on this show as a neighbour?

I have vague memories of "He and She" when I was a child. I think that it was a CBS show. Sadly, I cannot remember any specific episodes; just that it starred Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentiss, and the late Jack Cassidy was in it too. Yes, he was David (Sean, Ryan and Patrick) Cassidy's dad.
