TV: HBO Renews True Blood for Third Season

Sometimes I like to wait a few seasons before diving into a new show, especially since many of them are canceled before completing their first season.
If you're on the fence about picking up the first season of HBO's "True Blood", there are no more excuses as a third season has just been given the ol' thumbs up.
"Blood" has managed to increase its audience with nearly every episode, giving the network its most-watched show since "The Sopranos."
The first season is now available on Blu-ray and DVD at a retailer near you, while season two is airing now on HBO.
