Now that "The Wire" is over and "Entourage" has entered the "absolutely sucking" stage of its existence, there are very few reasons to subscribe to HBO. There's "Eastbound & Down", there's the vague chance that Will Ferrell will decide to tape another live special, and there's "Flight of the Conchords". That's it.
So Flight of the Conchords, the New Zealand joke-pop duo who have captured our hearts through sheer deadpan brilliance, are basically saviors of an entire television network.
And now they've got another album coming out. On October 20, Sub Pop will release the brilliantly titled I Told You I Was Freaky, the duo's sophomore effort. As we reported months ago, Flight of the Conchords sold a song a week on iTunes during the second season of their show, putting the songs up for sale the morning after they aired. But the album will include three season-two songs that haven't been on sale anywhere before, including the immortal "Too Many Dicks (On the Dance Floor)".
