...that Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon.

One small step for man...
One giant leap for mankind.

I wish Walter Cronkite was there to see it. :(

I'm still iffy about the whole walking on the moon thing myself, but oh well.

lol I have a friend who is positive that the landing was staged. I doubt it, but I guess you never know.

C'mon Lauren (and the other sceptics on here), we all know the goverment is good at keeping secrets (look at the Kenedy assasination) but if THAT was staged; you certanily would have heard by now!

Besides; on "MYTHBUSTERS" they proved that there's NO WAY any of those pictures and films could have been faked.

(besides liking "STAR TREK" & "MASH" I'm also a big fan of outer space)

I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm just not totally sure. But hey, there may be people up there walking around all the time and we just don't know it ;)

It would have been nice for Walter Cronkite to have been alive to see this, but I'm sure he's watching from Heaven.

I never doubted that the Neil Armstrong thing was real at all. Never thought anyone did, really, but I never thought about it like that before.

This makes me want to watch Apollo 13 again, even though it's not about this significant event. It's still a GREAT movie!

Ditto. This was a historical event, not only for America, but for the entire world.
