View Full Version : Are you a good kisser??

I'm not good at many things at all, but one thing I can admit to being good at is kissing. I was always scared before I ever got kissed, thinking that I wouldn't know how to do it right, but from my very first kiss, on to my most recent kiss, (which was quite awhile back), I've been told I am a good kisser on various occasions. Some of you know this story, and some of you don't, but my last relationship was literally sealed with a kiss. My ex was having feelings for me, and talked with her girlfriend, and said she was going to kiss me. She said she would base her decision on whether she would be with me on whether or not I was a good kisser. Well, one morning out of the blue, she kissed me, and the rest was history. We were together for close to a year. She later told me that after kissing me she thought to herself, dammit, cause she was hoping there would be no spark, but their definitely was. So anyway, have you been told you're a good kisser, a bad one, or do you not have much experience in that area?? I'm just curious??

I like to think that I am a good kisser. I like doing it, and I never got any complaints.

Ohhhh yeah, I quite enjoy kissing. :) It's been a while since I kissed anyone (December '08). I haven't gotten any complaints over my kissing so I must be doing it right.

Dammit, Brad, now I'm getting nostalgic. I don't have anyone to kiss right now. :(

so i've been told. i wouldn't do it with anyone i didn't have feelings for, but i REALLY want to kiss someone again as soon as i can to push back the emotional stain from getting lip-raped a few months ago.

I really don't know.
Like Mickey said, I've never gotten complaints before. ;)
I guess there's always room for improvement though.

Yes, among other things...

Unfortunately things just didn't work out in the past and I've come to terms with that. Lifestyle I lead it's hard to find a compatible partner; just taking things slowly now and figuring myself out.

Hmmmmm...I guess I'd have to say I'm not sure. No one has ever complained about it, but I obviously haven't been able to hold onto a relationship for a very long time either...so maybe it was because I'm not a good kisser. I'd assume it's because of other reasons though. ;)

I have been told so, yes ;). I guess I would be good at that sort of thing... no- I did not mean it like that, settle down. I meant as in, I'm passionate and creative.

I love to kiss. I am a very passionate person. The last man I was embracing, went "wow" so I guess that is a clear indication that I am, at least, a decent kisser...

And, the kiss, was so unexpected, too. I think that is the reason why I was so happy and bouncy after wards, or maybe it was the two glasses of wine I consumed...

And, I will tell him that you thought he was gorgeous, I am sure he will be very flattered:D

There are two types of kissers, and this is the only thing that's given me problems throughout the years. I hope this isn't too graphic, but there are many who love using lots of tongue, and then there are others who like to take it easy with how much tongue they use. My ex loved getting real down and dirty using lots of tongue, while another woman I dated for awhile didn't. So what I usually do is just start of with a slow kiss with a little tongue, and learn what they like by how they react. So my point is, the only time I've gotten complaints in regards to my kissing skills was when I used too much tongue, or not enough. Once you learn what the individual likes though, it's pretty easy. ;)

 Yeah, Archie would be pretty disappointed with me right now. I'm sorry Archie, but I just had to share with the world my knowledge of kissing, so that they wouldn't make the same mistakes I've made. And since this is the point where Archie would tell me to stiffle myself, I'll just shut up now. ;)

I've got another question for you all about kissing, and figured I'd just post it here instead of posting a new thread. Which kind of kiss do you prefer?? Do you like the slow, soft, sensual lips locks, or are you more into the hard, passionate kissing? For me it depends on my mood, but usually I love the soft, slow, sensual kisses. I like to take my time, and enjoy every second of it. Although like I said, the other can be fun too. ;)

My husband never told me if I am a good kisser or not. He tolerates it though, so I guess that means something! He's the only man I've ever really kissed, so I didn't have adequate practice time prior to meeting him!!!

Kissing truly is awesome. I've found in my life that kissing can oftentimes be more intimate than sex, depending on how good the kisser is. Don't get me wrong, sex is great, but at this point in my life I'd be happy just having someone to kiss each day. lol!! I think kissing is one of the most intimate things that two people can share.

I have found that a good kisser, or if the kiss between you and another person is awesome, usually a good indication that they sex is going to be awesome as well...

I've noticed that myself. I've also noticed the opposite. If the kiss is bad, the sexual attraction is most likely going to be bad too. That's just in my experience though.

I was hoping to get a kiss on Thursday, but it didn't work out. On Facebook I connected with a girl named Andrea who I went to middle school with. Hadn't heard from her in over 10 years. Ironically, she was actually the girl who gave me my first kiss when I was 14. We had a date planned on Thursday (The first date I have had planned since my breakup with Donna), but she had to cancel because she had to pull a double shift at work. :( On a good note though, we re-scheduled our date, so hopefully then I'll get a kiss out of it. :D I'll keep you all updated on how it goes. ;)
