Got a job interview today. Its over the phone, so hopefully it will lead to an in person interview. :)



This time they are supposedly calling me today, and dong this telephone interview. Hopefully they wont screw up this time, and if all goes well hopefully this will lead to an in person interview.

Good news... I contacted Netflix about the missing movie and they are reporting it as lost in the mail and are sending another one out tomorrow. And today I got an email from Deep Discount.com saying that they did receive the DVD set back and even issued a refund. They said they would rather me just reorder the CD's that I wanted. But after this ordeal, I think I'm just going to ask for them for Christmas presents!

The Holocaust museum was very interesting. Even though I was a history major and my friend a big history buff, I think we both came away learning something new.

A guy named Ryan that I went to high school with and have reconnected with through Facebook has invited me to come see his band Funky Monks play next Saturday at a rock club. It will be nice to see some live music again. :)

I received the most wonderful card I've ever gotten in my life today. It was from Janice, and inside the card it says that a contribution has been made in my name to the American Cancer Society. Nothing I can say can thank her enough. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful friend! :)

I LOVE the area where I live!! At least 70% of the houses in my subdivision are decorated. Some made more of an effort(like me), than others, but at least they made an effort. Even a couple more houses on my street are decorated this year. It's the 1st time I've seen them do it since I've lived in my house!! There were a few years where I was the only one on my street who put lights up!!

Also, there are 2 houses near mine that have the computerized lights. I wish I had the know-how to be able to do that!! Like I'm sure I irritate my neighbors already with the lights I put up now!!:lol:

I have had some awesome workouts this week. Usually I'm kind of lame at this stuff, but Sunday I decided to go to a different club (because it's the only one open on Sunday) and worked out. On Monday I went to my regular club (I go to Curves) and was thinking "Oh great, I'm going to have to workout really hard because my keycard that tracks my progress doesn't work at any other clubs." Turns out that my workout was totally awesome! Then I also worked out on Wednesday and found out that my strength level went from 85 on November 6 to 196 on December 16th! And yesterday when I weighed myself I actually lost some weight! Whoo hoo!

I might be having lunch Sunday with two of my friends. They are former teachers of mine. A few weeks ago I was sick and had to decline so I really hope that my friends and I can get together Sunday. :)

I went to lunch with friends. :) It was nice. One of my friends has a cold, but I'm glad we were able to get together. She has a new dog and wanted us to come see it. She has a Pomeranian named Zoey. The dog is 3.

That's awesome, Shine! I would LOVE to write a novel, but right now I'm stuck on fan fiction. For some reason it's easier for me to take exsiting characters and shows and write about those. However one of these days, I hope to get a brilliant idea and start writing like crazy. Wishful thinking maybe. But anyway, that's cool that you've set your novel in Seattle! We have an attendance incentive at my office and because I haven't called in sick at all since September of 2008, I got a HUGE bonus on my check yesterday! How cool is that? It definitely makes you think twice before calling in sick. The thought of losing a monthly bonus is enough to get me out of bed and into the office! They have a monthly, quarterly and yearly bonus. My check yesterday had all three! Whoo hoo!

I've started looking into the vineyard where I want to have the wedding and I learned one of my friend's fiance is a photographer so I'm looking through his work now :) I'm so excited!!!

Yay!! I did it! I'm finally making progress on my TV-DVD collection again. :D My employer is currently selling two seasons of TV shows packaged together for super-cheap, and they're selling a ton of different kinds right now. Family Ties, all of The Cosby Show, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched (S1/S2 and S7/S8), Cheers, Dynasty, Miami Vice, to name just a few. LOTS of great stuff!! I've been meaning to finish off my Bewitched collection for a while - and I was able to grab the Bewitched S7/S8 sets they had packaged together, as well as Family Ties S3/S4 (They had S1/S2 too, but I already have season 1 so I didn't need it... I will grab season 2 elsewhere). So, at long last, I have FINALLY finished collecting Bewitched! And I'm getting caught up on Family Ties. :mrt:

I went to the dentist yesterday, not only were the women VERY NICE, but they saw me 40 minutes before my actual appointment time. Then they confirmed that it's my wisdom teeth causing all of my mouth pain and immediately referred me to an oral surgeon and prescribed me some pain medicine. It was probably the most pleasant experience I've ever had at the dentist.


Also Alan and I did our Valentine's festivities last night and he made a delicious Chicken Cordon Bleu dish and I made cake. He got me the prettiest flowers. :) It was just a good day all around.
