View Full Version : Katie Couric; "I don't date because I HATE MEN!!"

As if we needed anymore proof that Katie Couric hates men, she recently told a reporter on TV that there is a very practical reason she doesn't date anymore. She just came right out and said it, "I don't date anymore because, quite honestly, I hate men." And the interviewer, who happened to be female, laughed along with her and said, "Right on, sister! You go, girl!"
This is just the final confimration that this woman, who claims to be a feminist and believes in equal rights, is a true-blue man-hater.
About ten years ago, when she was interviewing some lady about being jilted by her fiance, she blurted out, "Did you ever consider *cutting them off*???" I can't use the actual word she used. Anyway, after that, a bunch of men's groups sent angry letter to CBS berating her and saying, "What if a man said this about mutilating a woman on national TV??? You'd be bombarded by hate male and protests from NOW!!" In response, Man-Hater Couric said this; "Men are the BIGGEST BABIES!!!"
She has also took the time to point out women are in every way superior to men and will one day take over the world while men will be stuck at home doing chores and cooking our meals. She even went as far as to say, "I predict within a few years, men will oficially no longer be needed and the world will be entirely populated by women and girls. I can live in a world like that because I love women."
In the "I hate men so I don't date" interview recently, the interviewer asked, "Would you ever date a woman?" and Katie said, "Well...I might. Women are prettier, smarter and smell alot better."
Showing once again that misandry is perfectly acceptable in today's Femme-Nazi society.
I've known a lot of girls over the years who have jumped on the I hate men/men=scum/women good men bad train, and I can honetly say to about 99.9% of them:
Maybe it's you.

I can't stand women like her. Thing is if a guy were to make comments like that regarding women, they would get GRILLED.

If Matt Lauer said even a portion of what Couric said (but about women), he would be fired immediately.
He wouldn't work for a long time.
Apparently man bashing is acceptable.
It's ok, as a white, Catholic, male, I'm pretty much getting used to the fact that every other race, gender, and religion can mock my existence while anything I say in the same spirit is an outrage and worthy of scorn.
It's complete BS.

She did lose her husband didn't she? I wonder if maybe she's still upset about her husband not getting to a doctor soon enough as to maybe the cancer would have been caught.
Seems like a double edge sword... Men bash women, they get grilled but it's okay for women to slam men.. go figure.

There is definitely a double standard out there. Wasterston_Fan you may have a good point there about her being mad at her husband for not going to a doctor sooner and for dying on her. That anger may be what's behind her hatred towards men.

I guess this ruins Sol's chances with her. For those of you who don't know, Solomon is a big fan of Katie Couric's legs.

A couple of you mentioned her late husband. I was thinking about that, too. What a terrible thing to say about hating men. She obviously deeply loved one once. I'm hoping that this is grief talking and not her conscience. I'm not a Katie Couric fan at all, but I remember right after her husband died of colon cancer, she was big on advising people to get colonoscopies and so forth. And you all are right about the "free speech" thing; about a woman saying terrible things about men and it being acceptable to some.

It's even acceptable for women to say that they are superior to men and if a man even says, "No, we're all equal!", he gets slammed, so we are all encouraged to agree with them. I love women, don't get me wrong, and I believe in equality for all people, but this whole FEMME NAZI approach to "gaining equal rights" isn't ethical and ultimately doesn't work, because then we'll just go back to the old ways of people being opressed while others are privileged, only this time it'll be the other way around.

I'll bet Couric has Feminazi written all over her. How would she react if you called her that?

I was wondering the same thing, since nothing about this turned up on Google News. Seems like statements like this would get more coverage, they are quite out here after all.

I'd think so too, which is why I'm wondering how true or exaggerated this is.
