Inga: Today, class, we'll be learning how to make a marvelous German dish!
[Janet Raises Hand]
Inga: Yes, Janet?
Janet: VP, what is it called?
Inga: It's strudle, but in the style of my family!
Chrissy: That sounds great!
Inga: That's because it is!
[A Knock Is Heard]
Inga: Who could that be?
[Inga Goes to Door, Opens It, and Let's a Dean Travers In]
Inga: Dean Travers! What brings you here?
Dean: Why? Can't I go to the classrooms?
Inga: Of course you can!
Dean: Ummm.....Inga, can you do something for me?
Inga: What is it?
Dean: Can you make a dinner for 20 by tommorow?
Inga: What?
Dean: Do you need a hearing aide or something? Dinner for 20! Tomorrow!
Inga: But Dean Travers!
Dean: No buts about it!
Inga: I can't do it so fast!
Dean: Inga, don't give me a reason for firing you!
Inga: Well you won't! Because I QUIT!
Dean: WHAT?
Inga: BYE!
[Inga Goes to the Door and Gets Out]
Dean: Did I say something wrong?
INT-Inga's House-Inga's Bedroom
[Inga is Sitting on the Bed, Crying]
[Heinrich Enters]
Heinrich: [Sits Down Next To Her] Honey, what's wrong?
Inga: I.....I.........quit my job!
Heinrich: What?
Inga: I quit my job!
Heinrich: Why?
Inga: Because that man Dean Travers won't leave me alone!
Heinrich: He-
Inga: No, no! He expects to me to do everything on his whims!
Heinrich: Oh. Well, you did the right thing!
Inga: Oh, thank you Heinrich! [They Hug]
INT-Apartment-Living Room
[Janet, Jack, Chrissy, and Lana Are Sitting on the Couch]
Jack: So she just quit like that?
Chrissy: Yes! Now we don't have a teacher, and we won't get to see her everyday!
Lana: Knowing Inga, she'll stop by every couple of days!
Janet: Yeah, Chrissy, we're her friends!
[Doorbell Rings]
[Janet Gets Up and Goes to the Door. Inga Is There]
Janet: INGA!
Inga: Oh Janet! I've missed everyone already!
Lana: Sit down, Inga!
[Inga and Everyone Sits Down]
Inga: So.....have they found my replacement?
Chrissy: Yes! Mrs.Hoffenmeier!
Janet: That lady is so rude and mean to everyone!
Inga: I'm sorry, but I had to quit!
Janet: We understand!
Chrissy: Yeah, we understand!
Jack: So.....did you get a new job yet?
Inga: No! It's only been a day. And besides, I'm not going to get a job. I just got that job to keep me busy!
[Doorbell Rings]
Janet: I think that's proboly our landlord, Mr.Furley.
Inga: Oh, that funny looking man. What happened to the clown and the dead man anyway?
Jack: Oh, the Ropers? They moved to Cheviot Hills.
Inga: That's funny. I live in Cheviot Hills!
Lana: You do?
Inga: Yeah! I thought I told you!
Jack: You never did!
[Doorbell Rings Again]
Jack: Opps, we almost forgot about that person!
[Jack Stands Up and Goes to the Door. He Opens It. Its Dean Travers]
Inga: Oh, it's you!
Dean: Oh, Inga! [Runs to Inga and Gets on the Floor]
Janet: Ummm.....what's going on?
Dean: We need you Inga!
Inga: But-
Dean: Please, Inga! You're a woman, and you won't get a job anyway else!
Inga: What!?
Janet: You pigman!
Inga: I don't want a job from you!
[Janet Goes to Door, and Points Out. Dean Leaves, Janet Closes Door]
Janet: You did the right thing, Inga! [Gives Inga a High Five]
