The Star Trek movies featured some really good music scores. The best I think was Jerry Goldsmith's score for Star Trek-The Motion Picture. I bought the 20th anniversary CD in 1999 and I still listen to it all the time. Its simply a great piece of music that can be listened to as just music, separate from the film. Its a great score from a great and greatly missed composer. James Horner's scores for The Wrath of Khan is also amazing.
My least favorite scores are the ones from the The Voyage Home and the new film. The Voyage Home is an entertaining, if somewhat corny movie, but the music was awful! Especially bad is the music when they escape from the hospital! I also disliked the music is the new movie, but since I hated everything about that move, I guess I should not be surprised.
