; both also said to be in talks at one stage - have been stocking up on gold chains for nothing (might look good in a music-vid, boys?). And why? seems Fox has their sights on someone else to play tough-talking B.A Baracus in their long-gestating "The A-Team" pic.
According to IESB, musician cum actor Common ("Terminator Salvation") may have snagged the role.
Tyrese was said to be director John Singleton's favourite (naturally, since they're tied-at-the-hip) to don the Mohawk when the latter was attached to direct, and Ice Cube's name came up recently as someone else that had also been discussing the project with Fox (and he might've worked well, too). But with Joe Carnahan ("Smokin' Aces", "Narc") now set to direct the film, seems they're not only starting with a fresh script - but a fresh wish-list.
Common, who starred in Carnahan's "Smokin' Aces", tells the site he'd not only enjoying playing the role made famous by Mr T, but working with Carnahan again would be "so exciting". Don't expect to see him donning the famous mohawk though.
