The creators of hit animated show South Park are desperate to land a cameo appearance from John Cleese - but fear upsetting the star with their outrageous storylines.
The adult-themed series is known for poking fun at celebrities, famously parodying stars including Britney Spears, Tom Cruise and most recently Kanye West.
Writers Matt Stone and Trey Parker admit they are big fans of Monty Python's Cleese and would love him to voice a role on the show, but they are worried about offending their comedy idol.
Stone says, "I'd love to meet John Cleese - he is a legend. The real struggle is to find the story.
"We don't set out to offend. We always do - but that's not the starting point."
