Original ABC TGIF Lineup

I think Full House and Perfect Strangers were charter members. However, a slew of others pop into mind but I can get a date. I think Just the 10 of Us and Family Matters made the TGIF lineup but i don't remember when. If you know the original lineup and timeslot I would appreciate it...Bee Out!

The original TGIF lineup in the fall of 1988 was:

8:00PM(ET) - Perfect Strangers
8:30PM(ET) - Full House
9:00PM(ET) - Mr. Belvedere
9:30PM(ET) - Just the Ten of Us

When did Familly Matters join the line up? Was that the first major shake-up of the TGIF Lineup, or where there a few other short-lived shows thrown in there as well?

Family Matters joined the TGIF lineup in 1989. There were changes every year. Some short-lived (a season and a half or less)shows on Fridays were Going Places, Baby Talk, and Camp Wilder, You Wish, Teen Angel, and Two of a Kind.

the first major shakeup was the cancelation of full house.. but with family matters and step by step tgif was able to survive.. whoever it was never able to recover from the cancelations of family matters and step by step.. after that Sabrina the teenage witch was pretty much the only show on tgif that got any ratings.. then of course they canceled that...

TGIF was a good idea at the time, but it eventually became a punishment for the dateless.
