TBS has picked up 80 additional episodes of Tyler Perry comedy "Meet the Browns."
Sources close to the series said the show, which premiered Jan. 7 to an aud of 3.7 million total viewers, will be brought back this summer as a companion to the Perry-produced "House of Payne."
Currently in the midst of a 10-episode test run, "Meet the Browns" yielded the highest-rated TBS premiere since the "House of Payne" bow in June 2007.
