Better Off Ted will premire March 18, 2009 on ABC at 8:30, in front of scrubs. "Better Off Ted is a satirical office comedy featuring a successful but morally conscious man, Ted, who runs a research and development department at a morally questionable corporation, Veridian Technologies. No achievement is too far fetched and no invention too unorthodox for Veridian. Need a suicidal turkey? Done. Need a metal that is hard as steel but bounces - and is edible? Done and done. Ted loves his seemingly perfect job; he loves his superhuman boss, Veronica, and colleagues Lem, Phil and Linda, but he's starting to take a closer look at the company's extremely questionable practices... especially when they try to cryogenically freeze one of Ted's scientists for testing purposes." It stars Andrea Anders, Malcolm Barrett, Jay Harrington, Portia de Rossi, and Jonathan Slavin. Sounds like ABC's next great sitcom! :)

I will be interested to see who will win in the ratings, This, or the CBS wednesday night comedy. But, ratings will be low because of Idol.

Well, yeah but lie to me is on then, and that brings in about 10 million viewers a week or so. but i origonally tought that it was going on 8 for the resut show! SORRY!

I missed the premiere of this last week (DWTS was on and I totally forgot). The promos do look good though - I laughed at the guy jumping out of his office window and the woman in HR being upset because it's going to cause her more paperwork. :lol:

I've been looking for a good sitcom to come along. Hopefully this is it.

Wait a minute, the irst ep was a HOUR? Comcast has it listed as a hour ep from 8pm to 9pm

No, they are combining the first two episodes as an hour long episode since they sort of go together. The rest of the episodes you can watch without having watching any other episode. I already saw the third one airing, and it is great (as I said in the review). They sent me the 1st and 3rd airing episodes.

I gotta say i'm really liking Better Off Ted.

Although I think Jay Harrington is a bit stiff, he's pretty good.
Portia de Rossi is great, and so is Andrea Anders. Anders is such a cutie, i really hope this is the long term TV gig she deserves.
