For me, it was making a left turn on red. Thank God there were no other cars around. My mom, who was sitting next to me, screamed at me for about 5 straight minutes.  Needless to say, I never did that again.

Treating a two way stop sign as a fourway during my driver's test while cars were coming from both sides. :triplets

Two or three years before I even began driver's training, my aunt who lives in the country took me out driving on some of the back roads. When she told me to turn right, I didn't really connect that I should have slowed down significantly, and almost put us in the ditch.

Hell no. I took it again, though, and passed. I don't drive, though. I'm too anxious of a person and I freak out when I'm behind the wheel. It's one of my fears...not a very convenient one. Haven't driven since I got my license over two years ago.

That's a shame, Ashlee...but I was afraid to drive for a long time, too. That's why I didn't get my license until I was 25!!  Now, 4 years later, I drive all the time and sometimes in not-so-nice weather. I hope you are eventually able to conquer your fear. :bighug:

Me too. :o I'm embarassed to even admit it a lot of the time because people never seem to understand.

Well, I understand, sweetie. I have a lot of fears myself, but I did eventually conquer my driving fear. If you ever want to talk, you know where to find me. :bighug:

:eek2: I was going to ask if the cat survived, but I think I know the answer.

At first I kept forgeting to check my blind spots before changing lanes. Luckly I wasn't hit.

I scraped another car in a store parking lot (just a little paint loss), and my Mom made me "hit and run".....I never did that again

When I first learned how to drive I remember we had to turn the cars around these cones. I tried and knocked down every singe one. I was the only person in the class to do that.
I remember all the other students whispering about me saying stuff "he'll never pass". Then passing and getting my license was sweet revenge. Later in the year I would hear people say "I cant believe they gave him a license".
I showed them!

For me, it was breaking the speed limit, why?, because like the great Jimmy Hagert says, I can't drive 75!!! I was doing 105 in a 75 zone, btw!
