Hi! I have a question regarding actors and actresses who wear glasses in real life, but not when they're on TV. I know Brandon Cruz, who played Eddie on "Courtship of Eddie's Father" from 1969-1972, started wearing glases at age 5, which was about 2 years before "Courtship of Eddie's Father" premiered, wore glasses in real life, but not when he was playing Eddie Corbett-he did wear his glasses behind-the-scenes, though. Even Michael J. Fox wore glasses in real life, but not on "Family Ties". Why wouldn't actors or actresses who wear glasses in real life not wear them on TV? Wouldn't it make their eyesight worse? I know I saw Brandon Cruz squinting when he wasn't wearing his glasses on "Courtship of Eddie's Father".

Always A Brandon Cruz Fan,

I'm not sure but I think Joyce DeWitt wore Glasses. :)

Her character, Janet Wood, did wear glasses, but only when she was reading. I always suspected that Joyce DeWitt must have worn them for the same purpose.

Bob Saget wore glasses off-camera during his time on "Full House," especially when he read a script.

Harry Anderson - prior to the final 2 or 3 seasons of "Night Court," Harry never really wore his glasses on "Night Court." But he wore them on his game show appearances, though.
