My Job gives us the Friday after Christmas off but not the Friday after

Isn't New Years a holiday too which fell on a thursday like Christmas but they only give us the Friday after Chrisatmas off? My body is so confused right now because tomorrow doesn't feel like I have to go to work but I do.


Was it really necessary for my job to be open tomorrow? Last day of the week??

That sucks man. My brother even goes back later then that lol. He goes back to school on a Monday this year. Hey it's been a weird year. Is your boss an a$$ or is that what he decided?

Not only that, but December 26th is like the most depressing day of the year too lol. That's stupid though. Mine as well give you tomorrow off, if you're off Monday as well.

I'm working today. I work in shipping fulfillment so orders have to go out. I go in at 6 am and work until the orders are out.

how bout this, I come to work today and share a office with 4 women. How bout none of the women are here today? I thought we were all cool enough for them to tell me that they put in for Friday and that way I would have known what to expect.


Now I'm sitting here feeling like a big D*ckhead because all the other people i share an office with are home and I'm here alone. I have nothing to say to any of them when I return on Tuesday.

Somebody tried to tell me it's because the holiday season is from Dec 25th to Jan 1st. And after the 1st it's all over. Makes no sense-lol
