Actually Happy Days Online was first and it was going to be just a Happy Days site, and I guess TJ decided to add more sitcoms in 1999, then started the boards in 2000

Most likely lol. You're probably right. In fact, I haven't seen any. I thought I saw TJ signed up, was 2001 but I could be wrong. Obviously he is the creator of the site and came here first, but maybe my eyes deceived me or he just signed himself up late.
He registered February 2,2000, so thats when the boards started.

Oh nice. So this construction project or site officially is 11 years in the making lol. Unbelievable how time flies by. Are all the MODs and admin- are they all TJ's personal friends off the site or how did that come about, choosing mods and such? I'd like to know, interesting.
None of them know each other personally. TJ is admin cause well, duh he tsrated the site, Pav cause he posts TV schedules before anyone else, Seth for his graphics, and Janice cause of what she did with this board, those things. Choosing mods usually happens when someone asks to be a moderator for a board. SOME of the moderators for diff. boards dont post much or at all anymore. I asked to be one once and it didnt work out, but oh well.

SitcomsOnline launched on January 19, 1999. This version of the boards came in February 2000. Before that we had the old style boards at insidetheweb.com from 1999-2000. I remember posting there like it was yesterday. So 18 more days til the big 1-0! Doesn't feel like 10 years ago!

Some history... as Cactus Jack said, Happy Days Online started it all on May 12, 1997. Then came sites for Diff'rent Strokes, Gimme a Break!, Mork & Mindy, The Courtship of Eddie's Father in 1998 then mini sites for Hello,Larry and Please Don't Eat the Daisies before Sitcoms Online launched. After SO launched, full sites for Webster, Hogan Family, Silver Spoons, Family Ties,and Facts of Life were created, along with many mini sites.

My Jack's Bistro website just celebrated its 10th anniversary in December as well. Can't believe it has been 10 years...December 1998.

I remember there was a "test" version of these ultimate bulletin boards that opened on 2/2/00 before that date. I know I helped test it, but I had to re-register since it was redone. That's why it says I joined 2/17/00.

It's going to depend on whether we just get upgrading vBulletin to the new version (3.7.4) out of the way *now* (in which case downtime will be longer) or put it off (in which case there's a shorter downtime, but there'll be significantly fewer benefits to the upgrade for now besides the new theme)
