How many you think Ann gave him? I would say about 3 to 5. I wonder why she never used that paddle on Julie. LOL She gave Julie and Barbara more grown-up punishments it seems like grounding, chores, etc.

I think she did use spanking with Julie and Barbara when they were smaller,
especially Julie with her more rebellious and headstrong attitude. In the
last episode of the first season(the one where Ed decides to remarry),
after Barbara angrily says that she hates him, Ann gives her a stern
lecture on the all things that her father has done for her and Julie,
including a "good spanking when you girls needed it".
