We'll do the same thing we do every year. We'll stay home. I used to go to parties, but now, we get Chinese food early. I get a nice dessert. We watch the ball drop in Times Square. Nice and safe. I don't want to be on the road that's loaded with drivers who've been drinking.

I'll be working at the store til closing time. Then come home, eat supper and watch a movie or something, then to bed. I doubt if I will stay up til midnight--yea, I'm an old fuddy duddy

I have a wedding to go to on New Years Eve.

On New Years Day, I'll be with my family and taking down my Christmas Stuff.

I didn't dress-up this Christmas since I only went to church this year, but since I'll be at a wedding, I'll be bringing out my pinstripe suit and Family Guy Tie (It has Brian Griffin on it, he wears a tux, has a martini in his hand, and it says 'Top Dog').

Chances are I will be drinking with my friends.

Big shocker, I know.

I have to work in the afternoon, but for the evening I'll stay at home like I usually do. Probably watch them countdown on CNN, like I did last year. Unfortunately when you live in the central time zone, all the national count down shows favor everyone in the eastern time zone! You get nothing when you're in the midwest! Maybe Conan will do the central time zone count down. He hasn't done that in a few years.

We never do much on the Eve, we usually go stay over my in-laws house. This year, however, with my wife ready to give birth any day now, we are staying home.

I forgot they now have that countdown with Carson Daly on NBC. When did they start that?! Conan and Jay used to ALWAYS be new on NYE and I loved watching them! They just probably want the night off. Can't blame 'em, but why do they have to have Carson Daly on instead? can't stand him.

I'm going over to my boyfriend's place on New Years Eve to ring in the New Year with him. I plan on staying the night. On New Years Day we are going back to my house and we're going to eat my mom's homemade lasagna, which is always so yummy.

I'm going to my Neice's house along with a couple of friends and my other Nephew and his wife and baby. We're going to play games, eat, drink, and watch the Ball drop on Rockin Eve with Dick Clark or CNN with Anderson Cooper and Julie Griffin or Griffith. I'll be staying the night so I don't have to worry about driving.

I'm going to a wonderful New Year Eve's party. Will leave work early to help those throwing it decorate. I'm really looking forward to it. This party has been a tradition for me for over 15 yrs. New Year's Day = R & R! with some fun DVDs.

I had a wonderful time at Conker Hill celebrating the new year with my friends. Despite the sub zero weather, the city is jumping.

I'm going to sleep now. Tomorrow is a new year. Lots of changes for your friendly neighborhood TJL are coming in 2009.

...and this time, I mean it!

Happy New Year!

I did absolutely nothing. This New Years Eve I was sick, with a horrible sinus headache; so, I decided to stay home and watch the 2nd season DVD of CHiPs. The Best NYE EVER!!! NOT!:p
