I have to think about it, but for starters, I need to drink less coffee in the morning. Two mugs is too much. One is enough.

I'll try to be kinder to myself emotionally and physically. If I don't do it for myself who will??? This dumb s*&t needs to go have another scotch.

I usually dont make resolutions but this year I am going to avoid talking politics at all costs and not to ask advice about anything from my friends.

I say 2009 let the chips fall where they may :)

I don't want to say "lose weight" as its an overwhelming and sometimes intimidating goal. However, I will say my resolution is to eat better. I started eating better last year by buying sugar free or fat free foods and lo and behold i lost 12 pounds just from those minor changes. so i will continue that as my goal: to eat better. My other resolutions are to kick my soda addiction once and for all; incorporate some exercise into my daily life and to be more organized and tidier and to visit my dad and sister more. Thats about it.

1. self-development
2. general health
3. spending more time with family
4. get organized
5. stick to a budget & start saving.

Also, I had come across an opinion poll (http://minekey.com/opinion-poll) which says setting goals is important because "Failing to plan is planning to fail". Even if I don't follow my plan exactly, it gives me a sense of direction.
