A big congrats to Brianna! Paige's sister Brooke is off to High School while Paige is off to college. It seems like yesterday they were sweet little girls, playing with Barbies, and that includes Brianna and Ashlyn. Someone slow the clock down. :)

Photos of a barge that knocked out a portion of the Eggners Ferry Bridge in southwestern Ky. several months ago. There were a few cars on the bridge when it happened but there were no injuries. It was repaired & is now back open to traffic. We travel across that bridge when we go to Ken-lake & Aurora to fish.

My grandmother (Left) and her sister around 1915. She is my mother's mother. Grandma passed away in 1990 at age 80. She gave me this picture and I have had it proudly hung in my home for a long time! Isn't it cool?:D

Side note: Grandma told me that her sister's mouth is open because of bad adenoids. She tended to breathe through her mouth.

Janice, Actually my grandma became severely obese and was very overweight all of her life. Even during the Depression. I suppose that her diet probably contained a lot of carbs as probably she ate a lot of bread , potatoes and very starchy foods. She loved to eat! She was a great cook. But all in all she was happily married and had only 1 child (My Mom). All of her 7 other siblings were overweight too. Luckily my siblings and myself are in relatively good shape. But the older we get the harder it is to keep the weight off!:(
