They still have head cleaners for those, as far as I know. Incidentally, I once saw an Alarm Clock-TV, as opposed to an alarm clock-radio.

I think that the DOT was thinkng that the cross road is so busy, and it's so important to stop there, that they put a stop sign at both conrers to emphasize the importance of stopping at that intersection.

I've seen crossroads that were a lot more busy than this one and I have never seen 2 stop signs on the same side of the road at any of them. If the DOT of this county thinks that people are too stupid to see the one on the right side of the road and felt the need for a second one then why wasn't the same thing done across the road?

Yes, six and sometimes eight, in both sedans and station wagons, and with huge roof racks. The Checker Aerobuses were made for this, but there were also a lot of Chrysler Newports that were converted into airport limos.

Long Island Airport Limousine Services and Connecticut Airport Limo used to have fleets of them, before they replaced them with Ford Econoline Super Vans. I'm sorry I can't get an old pic of one of them.
