The word from "Soap Opera Digest" is that Wayne Heffley has died. (He had a recurring role in "Days of Our Lives.")

Heffley was also in 2 TZ episodes. I honestly don't remember his role in "Black Leather Jackets," but for me he was an indelible part of "The Odyssey of Flight 33," one of my 20 or 25 favorite TZs.
The other thing for which I remember him is an episode of "The White Shadow," in which he played the kind of basketball coach you love to hate, and played it very well, IMO.
