Kim Cattrall Confirms a Sex and the City Sequel

It's official!

After months of speculation, Kim Cattrall confirms that there will be a sequel to this year's hugely popular Sex and the City: The Movie.

The actress appeared on Britian's The Paul O'Grady Show, with guest-host Spice Girl Melanie Brown.

Asked point blank, "Will there be a sequel?" Cattrall replied emphatically, "Yes there will!"

Calls to HBO and Warner Bros. have not been returned.

I loved the movie, but I think a sequel will be overkill. The movie was necessary IMO because the final season of the show was very lackluster and over-dramatic and the movie was needed to restore some of the luster the show lost in the last year.

I like Sex And The City so it'll be interesting to see (but the movie was so well done that perhaps they should lv well enuf alone...& guarantee riding out a real winner)

I LOVE sex and the city, and I loved the movie, so of course I'm happy. I have no idea what more they can build on, but I'm sure they'll find something.

Hopefully it won't suck.

Since I love the series & the movie, if they do more I'm game. But the movie's gonna be hard to top and perhaps its better to not do a 2nd and have it turn out a clinker.
