What is it?
EVENING SHADE was one of the funniest sit-coms of the nineties, in my opinion. Two stand-outs were the Christmas show when Herman Stiles sang the wrong words to "Winter Wonderland" and the Thanksgiving episode with Billy Bob Thornton as Wood Newton's brother, the escaped convict. Hilarious! What a great ensemble of talent this show had: Burt Reynolds, Marilu Henner, Hal Holbrook, Ossie Davis, Charles Durning, Elizabeth Ashley, and Michael Jeter. Too bad it only ran for four seasons.
