Patty Duke is one of my favorite actress.I just got thru Reading her book, Call me Anna.
It is a very good book.It talks about her Patty Duke days in it ,too.

Hi Hillbilly ! - I read the book too. I felt bad about all she went through. Almost a little similar to the guy who played Dennis the Menace. He went though alot too just for the show. :wave:

I read Call Me anna Too It was Very Interesting Your Right Patty Did go through a Rough Childhood I also Saw the Made for TV Movie of the Same Title And If You will Notice Friends Star Mathew Perry appears as Desi Arnaz JR.

I didn't get to see the movie (Darn) but, I remember how Lucile Ball hated when Patty Duke went out with her son. She sure was livid............. :mad:

You`re right Jenny, Lucy hated her. She even was on the Johnny Carson show knocking Patty. I noticed Carson was getting very uncomfortable.

In the E True Hollywood story on Anna. I saw Desi Jr. sitting alongside her on an Emmy presentation (when Anna was spaced out). They went out with each other for a long time too. I even saw myself looking at Sean Astin to see if he resembled Desi. In the 70's everyone thought that Sean Astin was Desi's child.

After all those years.......... I'm glad she found a nice man to live her life with. She deserves it.

Lucie Arnez was on Howard Stern a while back, and said Sean was Michael Tells son. She also said Desi had married Patty for a short time. Patty never mentioned that in her book. Lucie Arnez said there were blood tests that confirmed Michael being Seans dad. Like I said she never mentioned any of that in her book.
