I will be going to my uncle's wedding on Saturday. But Sunday I will relax and watch some football games. I worked overtime last week so I will have Monday off which gives me an extra day to relax.

TGIF...tonight was great, great food and a Phils win...I still have to do a paper for Children's Literature though :(. Tomorrow, work, sleep then whatever. Should be a great weekend. We're getting our Halloween stuff this weekend, most likely Saturday. Anybody else getting their Halloween decorations and stuff this weekend?


My wife already put up our Halloween decorations. My kids just couldn't wait, so I went into the basement and brought them out.

I have to work Sat. for 2/3 of a day maybe Sunday. But its only for a few more weeks then it will ease off a lot

We're getting our Halloween stuff this weekend, most likely Saturday. Anybody else getting their Halloween decorations and stuff this weekend?

I got all my decorations up on my house yesterday and I must say it looks pretty awesome!! I have about 8 totes of Halloween stuff!! I've got more than enough candy and party favors for my goody bags which I make every year. So yeah, you could say I'm all ready for the 31st!!;)

Tonight, we're going to see Joel McHale. For those not familar with him, he's the host of The Soup. My sister had mentioned wanting to see him and although I don't watch The Soup as much as she does, I still think he's funny.

I'm finally glad it's Friday. Yesterday on my day off I had to go into work for a few hours since they needed some help at work. I work at the library. I'm glad to be off this weekend. This weekend I'm packing stuff up to be in my new home in two more weeks. I hope I will have my Halloween decorations on my kitchen table soon. pumpkin:

I'm packing my things and heading to Penn station for a weekend in NJ with the folks. Tomorrow is the annual garage sale in their neighborhood, and if you remember my posts from last year, it was an epic event. My sister and I had a lot of fun last year.

I have a bag of old trinkets and doodads I'm going to try to get rid of.
Other than that, just going to be a lazy weekend with the family.

Hope you do well on the garage sale. I need to have one myself, my son has a bunch of clothes that he never wears, even though most of them still fit him. Teenagers are just too picky! :lol:

The sale starts bright and early at 8AM tomorrow.

It looks like my Sunday plans might have just changed. A friend of mine just bought two tickets to the WWE's ppv No Mercy, and just called and asked if I wanted to go. On the one hand ppv's don't come here very often, but on the other hand I'm in debt, and don't want to owe him now on top of some other people. Plus there's a couple other things making me lean towards not going. I told him I'd get back to him tomorrow, so we'll see.

Well, once again the garage sale was a smashing success.

We got up bright and early - actually it was still dark out at 6 when i woke up, and we had our stuff ready by8 AM. Business was pretty steady and wrapped things up at about 12:30.

My sister and Mother got rid of a lot of thier junk. The stuff my Brother's wife brought over sold well too. Plenty of money for a nice dinner tonight!

Out of all the stuff i brought to the sale, only one thing sold. I guess the garage sale folks aren't ready for my sleek custom designs yet.

I bought this really cool old token from a guy down the street; it's some kind of train token I think, and i'm going to make a pendant out of it.

I don't think so, I'm not the type to smile and agree to everything a man says. I sort of get my dating advice from Melrose Place... which is dangerous. The date went well though, hopefully they'll be another one.
