I have a few. Rob Reiner, Gary David Goldberg, Penelope Spheeris, 3 or 4 from Meredith Baxter, Mick Foley, Kathie Lee Gifford, and probably others. I finally have a working scanner, so I just might scan a few if I can find them.

Um, I've got a lot. Haven't done any serious collecting in over a year, tho. Last person I heard back from was Scott Patterson from Gilmore Girls. And I know offhand that I have autographs from two people who have died - Brett Somers and Harvey Korman.

I usually don't do autographs anymore, as much as I used to. If given the choice, I rather get a photo with them. Sometimes you can only get one or the other.
I can't even begin to list all I have, they're around here somewhere!! But some I can think of off the top of my head -
George Clooney
Dweezil Zappa
Don Dokken
the guys from Dream Theater
David Coverdale
the guys from Extreme
Joan Jett
I used to get baseball players autographs all the time, too during spring training, that was the best time to meet them - mostly Dodgers & Braves
In fact, I got a jeans jacket that I have a bunch of autographs, kinda started that as a fluke, it has mostly band members on there.

One is on this huge cardboard cutout of Garfield that I would prop up in my keyboard at work. The other is a place card from a hotel event PAWS was at (that's Jim's company) and he wrote "Thanks Cathie! Jim Davis" on it. I've got it framed in my office here.

Hey, do you know where I can write to get Angela's autogrpah? Also, is there anything special that I have to do. Last July I sent a letter to Nancy McKeon and told her how much I enjoyed her work on The Facts of Life. I asked her if she could send me a signed picture and she never did. I sent a SASE envelope too.

I asked her if she could send me a signed picture and she never did. I sent a SASE envelope too.
It's weird that you didn't get Nancy. Though, sometimes mail gets lost/mixed up. I wrote Laura Linney earlier this year at a play she was doing, and it seemed everyone else got her and I didn't. I'm assuming it got lost somewhere along the way. Did you include an envelope big enough to fit an 8x10 photo?

Yes - scan some of them here!! :D
Did you see the ones I posted here?
I'd say my favorites are Jason Mewes; probably the only person who will write "I Eat Ass!" as an official autograph.
Val Kilmer is another favorite.

Your Jason Mewes autographs are awesome! If he ever comes to a convention here, I already plan to get him to sign a quote from Clerks 2.

Yeah, the only thing that stinks about these conventions/fan meetings is that some of these people charge $ for their autographs. However, I have heard for some that the money they get goes to charity and that they get a flat rate for showing up at the events. Val Kilmer gave the money he charged for charity.
Jason Mewes, at the event I went to in NYC, charged $25.00 per item signed. So for those two it came to $50.00
Val Kilmer was the most expensive that I've payed for, he charged $30.00
The cheapest would go to Butch Patrick and some of the wrestlers who were in the $10.00-$15.00 range.

Yeah, conventions definitely aren't cheap. I don't know if all conventions are different or what. I've heard from some promoters that the celebrities are given nothing to show up, just what they earn from selling their autograph, and I've also heard they get a rate on top of the autograph sales.

Yes, it is different for each fan event; who is running the particular gathering. Some are payed, others are not. Some charge for their autographs, some do not. Some donate the autograph money, some do not.

Really? I've never seen that, but it would be nice. I also wish they would give you a discount if you purchase multiple, or if you have your own item for them to sign as opposed to their photo.

Yes, there are some who don't charge for their autographs. I have heard from around that people at the "Power Rangers" conventions that some do not charge anything for their autographs. It is in the minority but some don't charge a thing or a very cheap price; from between $5.00 - $10.00
I have seen discounts offered like you mentioned. Danielle Harris of Halloween charged $20.00 for her photo and $15.00 for your item. So I got the photo and my Halloween 5 DVD signed.
Val Kilmer charged his rate of $30.00 for every item signed. I was debating to get my Top Gun DVD that I had brought or get one of his photos. I decided to get the DVD signed and that was it. If he comes around again to other meeting I will get his photo. I wasn't blowing away $60.00 at him all at once.

The only discount I ever got was with Priscilla Barnes where she charged $35 instead of $40 if you got two things signed. Not a huge discount, but I still appreciated it. The last convention I went to was a horror convention last summer. I got 3 photos of Caroline Williams, and she offered no discount. She could have offered at least $10 off, but oh well. The experience of meeting her and talking to her for an hour was worth it. At the same convention, I saw Linnea Quigley sign a big stack of some guy's DVDs and only charge him $50. I wish everyone would do that.

I'd be posting all night to properly answer this question. I don't expect A-listers to authentically sign through the mail, but there's plenty of people who don't. I find singers in general hard to get as well as many obscure stars.

I've gotten a few singers via venue - sending a SASE and index card to a venue a couple of days before they play there. Through this method I've gotten Linda Ronstadt, Olivia Newton-John, Billy Joel, Lionel Richie, Air Supply, Deborah Gibson, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mariah Carey, Huey Lewis, Carole King, Michelle Phillips, Bobby Goldsboro, Sheryl Crow, Crystal Gayle, Gary Morris, Donna Summer Roberta Flack, Aaron Neville, and Richard Carpenter.

Back when I was young, George Brett from the Kansas City Royals gave me an autographed picture when he came to visit my school. My aunt still has the autographed picture. He spelled my name wrong on the picture, but at least I got one.
The other one I have is of Martha Madison, who used to play Belle on Days of our Lives. I sent her a message on her website and she sent me a message back and told me she would send me an autographed picture and she did. She even spelled my name right. She was very nice.
The last one I got is of Barbara Eden. I mailed her a letter and asked for an autograph and she sent me one but she just didn't send me an autograph, it was an autographed picture. It was very nice.
Unfortunately those are the only autographs I have. :(

It's not really an autograph but I did receive a card from Yoko Ono when I was 13. (I'd written a poem about John Lennon and sent it to her.) I didn't know her full address so I just addressed it to Yoko Ono, Dakota Apartments, New York, USA, or something like that, and it must have got to her.
On the card there is a small blue square. Underneath, the inscription reads:
"A piece of sky.
Let's meet in 10 years and put the sky back together."

I was thinking that I didn't have any, then I realized I actually have two.
One being Martin Scorsese, which is strange in two respects:
The ex-girlfriend of a roommate of mine got it for me without me asking (she was working for him as a personal assistant) and she had it made out to my nickname instead of my real name.
The second being Phil Rizzuto, Hall of Fame Yankee, who was actually a customer of the family business. The picture he autographed was taken after I gave him a ride to Yankee Stadium with a few friends of mine-which is a story in itself.
When I find the both of them I will scan and post them.

-Rosa Blasi

-John Travolta
-Celine Dion
-Angela Watson
-Ed Asner
Of those, the one that I cannot believe I got was Celine Dion's. I'm pretty certain it's the real deal. It's not a computer printed signature, but I don't think it's a secretarial one either.
Edit: In fact, I'm pretty sure I got a letter saying that this was an authentic autograph, which was weird because other fans have said they couldn't get anything from Celine. I just don't know where I put that letter. It got lost somewhere in my room when I cleaned it once, but I need to find it.

This is Matthew Morrison (currently on "GLEE") from when he did Hairspray! on Broadway.
Must be from sometime in 2003.

After waiting a total of 3 1/2 hours in line, I finally got Chelsea Handler's "Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang" book signed.
 Love it! My sis just met Chelsea over Easter weekend. Don't know if my sis got her autograph but I know they stood in line to meet her also.

Michael Moriarty's great. He appeared in a few of Larry Cohen's films- It's Alive III, The Stuff, Return to Salem's Lot, and my favorite of his Q: The Winged Serpent.
Plus, he was Harry Potter Sr in Troll!

That's right! Here are two awesome scenes from It's Alive III and Q. I love the cheerful background music in the first clip.

I'll have to hunt that movie down. I never saw the whole thing. Didn't Karen Black play his wife?

Yep, she did. I'm a big fan of the first 2 It's Alive movies, and a Cohen fan, so when It's Alive III was released on video I was excited to see it- but they decided to make all the It's Alive babies adults  The first two are cheesy, but that was just silly! I only recently watched it again because it's a double feature with It Lives Again on DVD. Moriarty still rocks in it though.

Thanks!! Michael Moriarty is pretty much retired from acting now (these days he mainly writes his political columns and composes music), but he could do it all. He could play romantic (Woman Wanted - and held his own opposite Holly Hunter and Kiefer Sutherland), amoral (Holocaust -which earned him both an Emmy and a Golden Globe), innocent (The Glass Menagerie - which won him yet another Emmy) and could also ham it up and just go for the pure camp (like in the Larry Cohen movies).

On Friday, I got Louan Gideon's autograph in the mail (she played the last Liza on the now-defunct soap opera Search For Tomorrow, Mrs. Belding on Saved by the Bell, and she was also on Alex Mack). Today I got Melissa Sue Anderson's (Little House on the Prairie)! :D

I just wrote her c/o Globe Pequot, the publisher of her new book.you know i saw an interview where she said that as a rule she has no problem signing autographs but that even fans and people who see her somewhere in person seem reluctant to approch her and she has no idea why

Back in November of 2000 I met and got autographs from Yvonne Craig (Batgirl of 1960's "Batman") and the guy who played Timmy on "Lassie". He was really cool, in fact he did it for free. We had a nice little chat. I was also in the same room with Bill Mumy and June Lockhart, but their lines were too long.
