Does anyone else out there miss this show like I do and wish someone would bring it back? I heard somewhere a long time ago that Carl Betz's and Bob Crane's widows had some dispute regarding the show about copyright/royalty issues and that's why certain episodes were not part of the syndicated package. I wonder if that's why the show hasn't been picked up anywhere in a long time. I mean, c'mon, it's not as though it would be uncool to show a black and white '50s and '60s family show in reruns--TV Land shows some of them, like "Leave it to Beaver" and "The Andy Griffith Show." It seems like Nick at Nite and TV Land just trade their shows all the time--a lot of Nick shows turn up later on TV Land after they've had a run on Nick and vice versa (I think Nick's the parent company of TV Land but I'm not sure) How 'bout bringing back some shows we haven't seen in a long time??

Nick at Nite used to air the Donna Reed Show several years ago (8-10+ years ago?). It seems that if they've aired it once, they should be able to air it again. However, N@N is now focusing on 80's sitcoms & reserving TV Land for classic hits. Chances may be slim that TV Land will air it. Just a speculation of course but it would be great if they did air it again.

Well, hopefully TV Land or someone will air it again. Years ago one of our local stations used to show alot of the old time shows, like Pete and Gladys and December Bride and ofcourse Donna Reed. Since I had never seen them, they were new to me. They were usually on late at night and I would watch with my mom. She loved it because these were the shows she grew up with.

Yes! I use to watch this show with my parents when I was growing up. Now, I'm 21, of couse it was re-ran then, on NAN, and yes, it was like forever ago, like probably 10+ yrs. ago, and they use to watch it when they were growing up, I wouldn't mind watching it with my daughter now. It was an awesome show. I wish it was still a time when women could stay home and clean the house all day in dresses, pearls, and heels!

TV Land is scheduled to begin airing it in January as part of the Screen Gems deal they recently inked.
