high school musical 3
That looks like something I would have loved when I was in high school! I don't think I could really relate to it now! It's been so long! ;) Did HS 1 and 2 air on the Disney Channel? I remember hearing about them, but it's weird that only HS Musical 3 is in theatres. Or am I missing something?

There's a movie called Fireproof that hasn't come out yet that I'm waiting to see. It's a Christian movie, and with Christian films I've found that they're usually either really good, or more than not, really really really bad. This one looks pretty decent, and I'm hoping it'll fall in the very good category.

yes. HSM 1 & 2 aired on the Disney Channel. part 3 will be on the silver screen. :) i have no idea why Disney went with a big release on part 3. maybe more money in it than on TV?
anyways, i want to see Fireproof and Toy Story 3.

Mel: have you seen Facing the Giants? if so, the same people who made that also made Fireproof.

There's a tv made from the 80s called, Something About Amelia. It stars Ted Danson as a father who sexually abuses his daughter. The movie was very popular, won some awards, yet it's not on dvd, and I never see it on tv.

I think this girl danielle monet is going to the breakout star over the next few years. She is pretty and have you seen her in TAKING 5. The girl has a comedic prowess most people would dream of. Here goes the trailer.

"Bottle Shock" looks pretty cool, especially being out here in California and only a hop and a skip from wine country.

This was shown at the Seattle International Film Festival last summer and I really wanted to see it; mainly because I absolutely love Bill Pullman. It didn't get very good reviews (although that's not saying much; it was reviewed by film festival members), but I was excited to see that it was getting a later release. I'll probably end up waiting to see it on DVD since that's how I watch most movies anyway, but I'd love to hear others thoughts if they've seen it.

I want to see this too, but OMG, I bought the book on Labor Day weekend and it's so boring, it's enough to put someone in a coma! :sleep2: :sleep2: :sleep2: I'm going to give the movie a chance, but I hope to God it's not as boring as the book.

Yep, and by the time I get around to watching it, it'll be out of the theaters on onto DVD anyway. But if I do, I'll definitely share my thoughts.

"Beverly Hills Chihuahua" ... but I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD. We
don't have a movie theatre in this "one-horse town."

I want to see "Ghost Town" with Greg Kinnear and I'm dying to see "The Secret Life of Bees". Funny story about this movie; well, the book, actually.
I read another one of Sue Monk Kidd's books called "The Mermaid Chair" and it was beyond awful. The subject matter made me sick! Just too gory for my taste (although that wasn't the point of the movie. I saw the TV movie and it was just as bad).
I never had any desire to read "Bees" but when I saw "Bee Movie" there is a scene in the courtroom where the lawyer (John Goodman) is carrying around a copy of the book (because of the 'bee' theme!). I decided to check it out, based on that alone, and really liked it. That's pathetic, isn't it?:p

Finally saw "Secret Life of Bees" and I just loved it! I was afraid that I would need to read the book again, since it had been so long, but I had no problem following the movie. It was pretty close to the book, which I love. That is a great movie!
"Fireproof" was really good as well!
