LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - NBC is getting "Lost in the '80s."

The network has conditionally ordered a pilot for an hourlong project described as "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" meets "The Ice Storm." It comes from writer-producer Bob Brush, a veteran of "The Wonder Years," the acclaimed ABC family drama set in the '60s.

NBC already is riding the '80s wave with its sequel to "Knight Rider" and its revival of "American Gladiators."

I like that idea.

In fact I liked it a lot when it was called Freaks And Geeks.

Didn't NBC cancel that show after only one season?

;)

You couldn't it even call it a season - they aired 11 episodes in 10 different slots then said that it wasn't finding in audience. When will they learn?

This sounds pretty cool! I may check some of these shows out; especially if they are "retro" shows! I love 80's stuff!

It will be great, Bob Brush produced Wonder Years so this will probably be really clever and well-written as well.
