I don't think that Jenny has ever had an appreciation thread. Or if she has it has been a long time. So here is one for her...

I'm glad that you are a member of the boards, Jenny, and a friend. :)

Jenny, I certainly appreciate you. I've enjoyed becoming your close friend this past year. I only wish we did so sooner. Better late than never. I think you're a wonderful and sweet person, whom I trust a great deal. You're a great daughter, sister, friend and a wonderful member here. You have a wonderful heart.

I don't always show my appreciation for Jenny as a friend. We've known each other about four and half years now and the best thing I can say about Jenny is that she is always there for people. Some people never return your phone calls or answer your letters and act like they can't be bothered with you. Jenny had never been one of those people.

Jen is a great friend and I consider it to be an absolute honor to know her. She joined SO around the same time as me, and we both share a love for the show Family Ties. One thing I love about Jen is the fact that she never starts drama, and never has a bad word to say about anyone. She has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever known, and she'd truly be there for a person who's in need in a heartbeat. I had the priveledge of talking to Jen on the phone a couple months back, and it was a blast. She's funny, articulate, and just alot of fun to talk to. I hope I get the chance to chat with her on the phone again real soon!! She is someone who will always be a true friend, and I appreciate her greatly for these qualities, and the many other qualities she has. Jen was one of my very first friends here at SO, and I truly hope that we can be friends for life.

Jen was one of the first two people I met here as well. I think it was back in August of 2004. It was either right before my birthday or right after. I remember reading her responses in a survey and I clearly recall her putting down for her future ambition, "to make a difference". I really was impressed by that. I knew that she was someone who would make a difference. So I think I sent her a PM or something. Sadly, I often took her friendship for granted when I met other people. Something I really regret doing, especially since those other people didn't turn out to be half as good of friend as Jenny was.

Jenny is one of the sweetest and kindest people I know. We're on the phone right now, lol. She's a wonderful listener and truly cares about me, as I care about her. Regarding my health, she remembers dates of appointments, results, things like that. She's not just phoning it in.

We've become very close friends, and she's an important part of my life. Like Brian, Jenny is always there for me. My only regret is not getting to know her sooner. The more crap that life throws my way, the more I appreciate Jenny. She's not an overly opinionated person, but she's smarter than many people I know. The phrase, "Still waters run deep" make me think of Jenny also.

I admire Jenny and her dedication and her devotion to both her mother and her sister; those characteristics are very admirable:)

She doesn't seem to be as appreciated at home for the hard work she does as she should be. Not fair! You rock, Jenny.

That's so true. I think Jenny has pretty much raised her kid sister.
