Would you buy the DVD TV Set if you saw it a zillion of times???

I won't buy the DVD sets when I saw the reruns a zillion of times.

I won't buy I Love Lucy, The Simpsons and such.

I'm burn out on the reruns of those shows!

I Love Lucy comes on four times a day at 9 AM and NOON on KCOP 13 weekdays.

The Simpsons comes on three times a day at 6 PM, 7:30 PM, and 11 PM on FOX 11 weeknights.

I thought the same way about Gilligan's Island but watching it on DVD is almost like watching it for the first time.

watch the episodes in b/w seems like a first time.

i do not remember seeing them in b/w as a kid in the late 70's and early 80's.

i always thought all episodes was in color.

I still can't believed the first season of Gilligan's Island is in black/white.

I would buy the DVD TV Sets because they usually come with many extras and behind the scenes footage which I always find very interesting.

Yeah, I'd buy the DVD sets. I've seen shows like Three's Company, Roseanne, I Love Lucy, and Home Improvement a thousand times, but I still bought them and completed them on DVD because those shows never get old to me. Plus, you never know where those shows are going to be in 10 or 20 years - they could be gone completely from TV, but I could still enjoy them on DVD.

Heck yeah. I love buying my favorite shows on DVD. Plus buying shows on DVD we get to see the orginal uncut episodes(Well on some shows anyways) It was so nice buying Three's Company and seeing footage that has not been scene since the orginal airdates. I also love having The Munsters on DVD and The Monkees, and many others. Love having Doctor Who on DVD as well.Doctor Who looks great on DVD and they look better then when they aired on PBS. I'm just disapointed like many others that I cant complete Diffrent Strokes,Facts of Life, and Growing Pains on DVD. I so hate when studios gives us a season 1 set and thats all she wrote for that show.Well atleast we got season 1 and season 2 of Diffrent Strokes and season 1-3 of Facts of Life on DVD.

If I was a fan of the show then yes of course I would. What some people don't understand is that tv dvd collecting is so much more than just the episodes... it's the dvd quality, the artwork, the episode guides, the tangibility, the extras etc.

I've seen "Full House" episodes so many times I have them memorized, but I want all the seasons anyway. There are times when I want to see a particular episode and it's nice to just be able to pop in a DVD and watch instead of having to wait for it to come on TV.

I would probably buy them anyway. And I have! I bought up to season 3 of Three's Company (buying more soon), and I have all the episodes almost memorized. Plus, I have all 7 seasons of Gilmore Girls on DVD even though I've seen every single episode and can probably tell you what episode a quote is from, etc.
I want to own the Flintstones and I Love Lucy as well, and so many more that I've seen thousands of times...for me, it's like what Andrea said, instead of waiting for it to come on TV, you can just watch your DVD. Owning the DVD of a TV show is like owning a part of the show...I know that sounds weird, lol.

Yeah its great to have you're favorite shows on DVD to watch again and again. And they just dont seem to get old. Its also nice to have shows that have not been scene on TV for many years too, Shows like Punky Brewster, and The Greatest American Hero. Been awhile since I scene a rerun of those 2 shows on TV. I know FX aired reruns of Greatest American Hero at one time.

Yeah The Incredible Hulk with Bill Bixby has always been a favorite of mine. I thought the show was mutch better then that Hulk movie that they did a few years back. I did think the new movie they just did was pretty good thoe.Still not as good as the tv series. Its to bad that the networks did not let Kenneth Johnsone do a final episode where David Banner finaly got caught and put on trial and Jack Mcgee finaly solved the puzzle.

me too.

I ordered Father Knows Best from Amazon.

We hardly see that show on TV any more.

I enjoyed that show as a kid.

ALSO, I will buy tv shows I have NEVER saw before.

Last week, I ordered HAZEL from Amazon.

I saw the first five episodes this morning.

I enjoyed the show very much.

Hazel is fun to watch.

Ilove the Hulk too and actually just got season 4. I just finished watching "Prometheus". Now I can finally get rid of that crappy Ultimate Craplection set Universal put out since I have all the episodes that were on it.
Unfortunately the Hulk series didn't end the way they planned it. They were still doing the TV movies and I heard on one of the sets commentary or interviews that had Bill not died they would have continued more movies. I have not seen either movie that has come out and don't plan to anytime soon.

Yeah Prometheus is a great episode. It was neat seeing Dr.Banner stuck half way.
Cant wait to get season 5 on DVD to complete The Incredilbe Hulk series on DVD.
