Derek Reese + Cameron = hot Sarah Connor Chronicles hookup on the horizon? Please tell me it's a possibility, I beg of you! — Alexandra

Matt: I am not entirely sure where Isaac Asimov stood on this — though I do have his daughter's digits! — but the word from those close to Terminator is: "Human-robot sex? Not going to happen." At least not any time soon. So please, boys, look but don't touch.

There is no way Derek Reese would ever hook up with Cameron, since he hates all terminator robots.

Plus Cameron is way to good for some 90210 reject.

Yeah, I agree with TJL, there is no way on Earth that that could happen. Derek would never even sleep with Sarah--- that has already been addressed by Josh Friedman in an interview some time ago. He said that that would be too incestuous, being that she would be sleeping with someone who is practically her brother-in-law (though not technically, since Sarah and Kyle never married). Is it even possible for Terminators to have sex? I know that they have "living tissue" and normal bodies just like humans (and Cameron probably even has a better body than 99 percent of the humans on Earth, lol), but I just can never see that happening. But then again, Vick, the Terminator who married an unsuspecting woman named Barbara Chamberlain, someone tied to the possible creation of Skynet, probably did have sex with his wife at some point--- they were married for quite some time before he killed her. So, maybe, they'll do it if it has a chance of furthering their missions, but otherwise, I don't think Cameron is "getting any" anytime soon. She sleeps alone at night (oh, that's right, she doesn't sleep, lol). While it's a fantasy of any guy, that's all it is--- it'll never happen on the show. Terminator was never the kind of drama that revolved around sexual tensions. While sex is a core part of how the future leader of mankind even came to be in the first place, it doesn't play any other role than that in the franchise. The reality is: John needs to send Kyle back in time from 2029 to 1984 so that he can protect Sarah Connor so that she can go on to have John. And in order for that to happen, he also has to make love to her along the way, because he is destined to be John's father. As long as John is alive post-1985, that's all that matters. After that, Sarah has more important things on her mind than sex, as does the good Terminators sent back to protect John from the evil ones. Like I said, unless the mission requires it, Cameron is obstinate.
