Do they have an older son? I didn't get the vasectomy story becuase of that.

That puzzled me, too. I wondered if I had missed an episode where they
mentioned having a kid away at college.

I've only seen the first season (on DVD) but I know they have a daughter in college, named Allison. She appeared a few times in the first season. Other than that, I don't think so. Unless it was somebody they just created that they haven't shown yet.

I missed a lot of episodes the first season because it was opposite one of my
favorite shows. Thanks for the info!
