On her way into Avalon last night, She crumpled up a bunch of photos from a John Hancock seeker and ran inside the club. The autograph hound didn't just roll over though -- he called the cops, who ordered Heaton to pay the man back!
I have to say, I am a bit disappointed to hear about this. Although, on my local news, her publicist said that the guy in question sells autographs on ebay and was using unauthorized photos of her.

I hate TMZ. I assume that Patricia knows a real fan from a jerk who sells autographs for money. I will give her the benefit of the doubt. But to hear she might have to pay back this bastard is absurd.

I guess to avoid a lawsuit. For some reason, there are a lot of Patty haters out there.

I feel bad for celebs because of the actions of a few; the celebs may start avoiding the true fans who simply want an autograph and/or photo. I wonder what the photos consisted of? Was it photos of her at some public event?

I'm sure there is more to the story. I wouldn't be surprised if they were the infamous bikini photos he was trying to get her to sign. Still, she should have just ignored him, or told him that she wasn't going to sign that type of item. But we are all human, and at times act on impulse, which is probably what she did.

Those are a good possibility. I know she posed for a very risque photo shoot and never had them released, or it could be the ones in her infamous green dress.

Ok, which green dress? The one that was posted here before?

That's just a guess, but yeah.

I loathe TMZ too. They certainly put their evil spin on everything they report. I saw the video and she was signing pictures on her way out. So that has nothing to do with her approach towards fans. That guy was not a fan he was an autograph collector and although he claimed that if she had asked for the photos he would have given them back to her I don't buy it for a second. he knew the TMZ cameras were there and he wanted his 15 seconds of fame. So pathetic!

True, we never saw video evidence of her snatching the pictures. It probably did happen considering one of her people paid the man in question, but still, a close friend of mine once said...let me see the evidence...and they were right!

I really hate TMZ. I am sickened that a lawyer of all people is the man behind this pathetic piece of trash. Harvey Levin comes from So. Calif. and he was a tv journalist here on one of the local news stations. He did a report daily on the OJ Simpson murder case. He was a great journalist and of course, a great legal analyst on the OJ case and other cases that made headlines here. Now, knowing he is the owner and the man responsible for this crap, he has sunk to an all-time low. Because he is a lawyer, he knows what the show can do and not do, what they can say and imply without getting into trouble. His demeanor and behavior is not the man I remember from back in the days. He mocks and laughs at celebs. He seems to get a genuine satisfaction of finding anything on a celeb and portraying them in a bad light. He did it to Paris and Britney and that is just sick.

I bet the pics were from her private photo shoot in the black corset. Her hair stylist had asked her to do it for his portfolio. You can read about it here http://www.vanitymark.com/flash/onset.shtml
Somehow the pics got leaked in the internet and the photographer threatened some websites of legal action if they didn't take them down. Too late though, as they've made their way in noumerus sites.

Wait, it was posted she CRUMPLED the photos. She didn't tear them up then? So what is the problem? Like that dude can't get another set of photos from his computer.

That's right. We don't know what really happened or how she reacted and I don't believe anything I read or hear unless I see it with my own eyes. Especially knowing that everything they write or say about Patricia is conditioned by politics. People can say it's not about that all they want but if they write about how terrible she is as an actress or what an evil person she is in real life and then sign their name as stem research rocks there's nothing to be said anymore.

Barbra Walters revealed once at the View that as she was coming out of a restaurant in LA the TMZ cameras were trying to shoot her and of course they were calling out her name. She said she was very nice to them, stopped so they could take her shot, and in the evening she happened to watch the episode on TV where they were making fun of her and saying how nasty she was. I'm not a fan of Barbra Walters but that's just a typical thing that TMZ does so ..enough said!

All I can say is KUDOS to Patty. In this day and age, I can't believe the guy happened to have photos of Patty and they happened to be THE ONLY ONES that he has. No way. He probably prints out photos all day long and of course has them on his hard drive. So what loss was there? She didn't destroy his property like a car or something. They are photos for God's sake.

Wait a minute, her publicist was interviewed about this "incident" and your local news covered this  ? Man it must have been a slow night. What no celebrity left her panties home on Sunday

Yeah, my local Fox affiliate carries the TMZ tv show and they were interviewing Harvey Levin about what was coming up on the show and Patty's name came up.

I don't understand why he was paid for the photos, especially if they were unauthorized. I could only see him being paid if he owned the actual rights to the photos.

It appears from that tape, he was paid for his "property". Patty apparently destroyed his property, the police were called and he put a value on those photos and the publicist paid cash for the damages caused. The police officer is not going to try and figure out if the pics are authorized or not. Now, if Patty had gone out there and stated to the officer she believes those photos are unauthorized, the police officer may have referred her to make this a civil matter (sue the guy). I cannot believe a police officer wasted time for that bullsh*t. Like I said above, he has more of those photos on his computer or plenty of copies already in a pile ready to go for another round.
OH Nuts!

Sorry to hear this happened to Patricia. Unf. one of down sides of celebrity is creeps coming out of the woodwork every which way trying to exploit famous people for a quick buck. Disgusting. Hope the bad karma comes back to the jerk who cast it out.

What's really crazy about this is that TMZ and other blogs are implying that Patrica is ingrate towards her fans and that's unfortunate because she seems like a very kind and down-to-earth person. I can't believe how mean-spirited people can be sometimes  .

I think she might have agreed to pay him for his "property" to just put an end the entire issue, instead of suing him for having the unauthorized pics. She knows those pics are all over the internet so there's nothing she can do about it. And yes, the police officer wasted time and tax payers' money for this crap. Unbelievable! This is what those news reports should have addressed rather than going after Patty.

The more I think about this story, the more I get angry, because like felix said, Patty is being portrayed as a villain.
