Hey, where is everyone from? Anyone interested in getting together on Friday nights to enjoy the Gate Crasher Block Parties? I'm in the greater Seattle area... anyone even close to where I am now?
...And since I'm just sort of wasting time here at work, thought I'd let everyone know about my latest Garage Sale finds! If you aren't garage sailing on the weekends, you don't know what you're missing! This weekend I found a 1-inch pinback button with a picture of ALF on it, says "Club Alf". I don't know if that is an organization or if it's a request, but either way I thought it was pretty darned cool for only a nickel! I also found this great little book from the 70's called "Television's Famous Faces" with Laverne and Shirley, Barney Miller, and The Love Boat on the front cover. It has a brief biography of the main actors and actresses of each show in it, and a bunch of b&w photos. Keen! I also saw a Laverne and Shirley Coloring Book, but the person selling it wanted $2 for it because it hadn't been colored it. Almost bought it, but decided against it at the last minute.
Past Garage Sale finds include a large Batman pinback button, a large Fonzie "Sit On It" pinback button, A paperback version of "The Brady Bunch goes to Hawaii", a Mork & Mindy coloring book, and a 6 hour video tape of "The Kids In The Hall"! I tell ya, you GOTTA go to garage sales!
