it was strictly the syndicated version with Sally Struthers--it did not include any of the ABC episodes. Wonder if the package did not include the ABC shows or if WTBS simply didn't want to run them. I kept watching hoping the ABC run would be shown, but I was always disappointed.:(

Do you have all of the episodes of the first-run of the series taped? Would you be willing to trade? :)

If you are asking me, Robert, no, I do not have any episodes of this series.

I remember that. TBS did air the show starting with the Sally Struthers eps. I was wondering about that. It has been 20 years. It aired at 7:05pm weeknights. One of my local affiliates WFTS 28 (Fox) did air it weekday afternoons at 2pm in the early 90's (1992). The station did air the entire run. I loved Rita Moreno. She was my homegirl.

The show would have played better if the ABC episodes were included. At least it wouldn't have cycled so quickly, since the syndicated version had just 50 episodes.

Maybe TBS did not get around to the early eps. I bet that they assumed that the Sally Struthers eps would have a stronger impact in drawing viewers. When One Day at a time got to the middle of season seven, they skipped back to season one which was skipped its first time around in 1988 when the show ran on TBS.

Does anyone have episodes taped from TBS? I wonder if this series will ever find its way to dvd in the future.
