Back to You is the only shot Fox has at a decent sitcom. Considering the poor returns of the other two new comedies Fox introduced this spring Back to You should have good chances to get a second season....and they better get it ..lol..

Agreed, for it to be on the buuble is perplexing to me. It really never had a fair shot of growing because of the dang strike!

Considering the star power on "Back To You," FOX owes Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer another season.
They deserve another chance to launch the show after the first season was cut because of the strike.

No, it just means the network is unsure what to do with it. It is in danger, but not exactly likely to be canceled.

That's completely insane, IMO. Look at the other shows they put on the bubble: Don't Forgt the Lyrics (which is doing better than ever lately), The Next Great American Band (completely bombed, and wasn't it already cancelled?), Unhitched.

It'll get renewed. These articles are making us all worry - LOL

I've learned after last year with Studio 60 to never over-attach yourself to a show. I hope the show doesn't go. If it does, it will be missed. I just hope if it does that we get a proper sereis finale and dvd release.

I sure wish this show aired on CBS on Mondays after Two and a Half Men.

I agree, BTY has not had a decent chance. Off the schedule, day changes, lackluster promotion. This program needs to come back to us!

Oh dear, don't remind me of that Studio60 shock!! :livid: i'm still not quite over it...
I really hope they won't cancel BTY! It didn't even get a fair chance because of the strike and everything but i think it has great potential. With sitcoms i feel you always have to watch them for a while and get to know the characters and appreciate their kind of humor.

I don't understand why FOX would right off the bat renew King of the Hill for another season, but not Back to You. King of the Hill is the lowest rated program on the schedule to get a renewal . . . BTY can do way better ratings than it.

I know! It seems that the Fox President, is against this show. I may be wrong, but he should give the word already.

I think they're waiting to see how it does when it returns next Wednesday, before Idol. I'm hoping it can do 8-10 million. Hopefully some of the viewers who sampled the 2 airings after Idol back in February will watch again. Plus, the show will get the Pre-idol viewers.
