I asked this before and got no response - I already know that those rumours about Jeremy Miller ('Ben' on Growing Pains) being Anakin are very false (I don't even think that he tried out for the role), but is Johanna Kerns (Mrs. Seaver) going to really play 'Sheba of Malderon' in the next Star Wars flick; a memeber of the Jedi Counsil? I'm a big 'Wars-fan and I think that if it weren't for old Joannie ever being on GP, she'd be considered AT LEAST among the top-5 actresses today. I mean think about it - I'm sure that if Meryl Streep or Angelica Houston started out their careers as 'Mrs. Seaver', they'd each be all-but-forgotten today. Joannie can act her ass off!!! She can act her way through a brick wall!! Wouldn't it be so ironic if Kerns appearing in Star Wars would give her career a turn for long-overdue credibility; and put her in a position to be offered many credible roles? The reason I say 'ironic' is because wasn't there an all-but-forgotten actor by the name of John a few years ago who starred in a role with Samuel L. Jackson and just like that, his career was revived. Well, if these rumours about Joannie in the Jedi Counsil are true, wouldn't she be cast alongside Yoda and.....yeah, you guessed it - SAMUEL L. JACKSON? Anyway, I'm really psyched about this rumour and NEED an answer. NEED an answer. Is Joannie in 'Wars or what?

Nobody knows yet. That's the great thing about Mr. Lucas... he loves to spread lots of false rumors so that everyone will be suprized when the movie finally comes out! Heck, I remember one rumor I heard from an "insider" that Episode One was supposed to detail how Obie Wan Kenobi was actually a clone of the original Ben Kenobi (colne designation of OB1-Kenobi). Obie Wan was supposed to be the first clone that developed sentience, and proved that he was a living being by demonstrating that he could use The Force. Hence, the Clone Wars began between people who believed clones should have the same rights as humans, and those who believed they should be just a step above Droids.
...Somehow, the clone wars ended with the illegalization and mandatory destruction of all clones. Any clones who did not vollunteer for termination where hunted (which explains why OB1 was hiding as a hermit on Tatooine). Personally, I thought this all made perfcet sense!
So in answer to your question is a definate "Maybe". Sorry I can't give you a better answer!

Bo Bo Bo, I'm in very high agreement with you, buddy, about that comment that you made. You know DAMN well if the Streeps, Houstons, Garlands, and Taylors out there started off their careers as 'Mrs. Seavers', NEITHER of them would EVER be noticed. Good call on that one. Good way to put it. Will Mrs. Kerns make that gracious comeback, however? It remains to be seen. I think I heard something about her being in the next Star Wars movie, but I'm not certain. We'll see. Anyway, if you are in good appreciation of great acting (being that you're a Kerns-nut) you really, REALLY should look for an early-80s flick that starred Howard Hesseman. He played the father of a son (played by Rob Lowe's brother) that commited suicide. Howard's acting? Kind of, just 'kind of' a great example of why he's the most-professional-actor-of-all-time. Just 'kind of'; ha, ha, ha!

'Sheba of Malderon'? Isn't that the name of the Jedi Council member who's going to be played by JK. It's about time that she gets back in the spotlight. Ten years removed from a crappy TV show is long enough. Go out and act, Joannie. Just do it.
"And the Oscar for best-actress, 2002, goes to Joanna Kerns in 'Star Wars'."

Look! I'm in need for an answer to a rather simple question - 'is Joannie Kerns going to be in the next Wars flick?' - not all this stupid, 'Joannie can act' (I already KNOW that!), 'some movie in which Rob Lowe's son killed himself in and that's why he's the best actor of all time', and this, this, 'theory behind the clone wars'. I just want to know if Mrs. Joanna Kerns is going to be in the next Star Wars movie? Nothing else! If you can't give me an answer, don't reply! Geeeeeeeeeeeeeez!

What's with that, Bo Bo Bo?!?! All that I EVER did was compliment you and give you some insight on some other talent out there and I get this?!?! And the movie is NOT about Rob Lowe's 'son' killing himself, but the charcter played by Rob Lowe's BROTHER killing himself, and Howard Hesseman plays the father! Don't go dissin' my favorite-movie-of-all-time. Oh, and another thing, Bo Bo Bo - JK STINKS! There, take that!

BOBOBO: Wow, you look really nice... so where would you like to go for dinner?
DATE: (with a sultry look on her face) Oh, I'm not really that hungry... how about if we just skip dinner and head right over to my place?
BOBOBO: I didn't ask IF YOU WERE HUNGRY... GEEEEEEEEEZ! I asked WHERE you wanted to GO for DINNER!!! If you aren't going to answer the questions I ask, THEN DON'T TALK!!!
Don't worry, BoBoBo... I've heard there are LOTS of 35 year old virgins out there... you won't be alone!
