The A-Team star Mr. T has vowed to never shave off his trademark mohawk - because he believes his exotic hairstyle has been the key to his Hollywood success.

The tough guy - real name Laurence Tureaud - insists his haircut was the main reason he shot to fame as B.A. Baracus in the 1980s TV series.

He says, "I got the mohawk back in 1979 when I first became famous. A lot of producers said, 'Mr. T, you'll get a lot more acting jobs if you shave it off.' But I turned around and said, 'If I changed my hair, I wouldn't be who I am.'

"You see Frank Sinatra sang my song My Way. I'm not wishy washy. I ain't changing with no styles."

The mohawk is his #1 trademark without a doubt. He should keep it.

A few years ago he guessed starred on a sitcom and he was bald (that might have been around the time he was battling cancer) and he looked perfectly fine.

he looks proper bad ass with it, along with the gold chains and the catchphrase 'i pity the fool!'
