I was just curious, who owns the TV-Movie that came out in 1989?

I just received my copy in the mail yesterday.

(But have seen it many times. I had borrowed it from NetFlix for nearly 2 months and it was in the DVD Player for a solid 2 weeks! lol.. and then off and on)

For any of you who have never seen it, I certainly recommend the feature! It's one of the best TV-Movies I've ever seen! (Esp. that's based on a series)

Yup....my fave scene is when Max comes back to CONTROL for the first time in 20 years and finds Larabee, still at his post in a tangle of plants that have grown to cover everything....cause no one told him he could go home!

yea, Max walks in, sees him and says "LARABEE"? and Larabee says "Oh hi, Max. Got my egg salad sandwhich"?

I haven't seen the movie in YEARS, I didn't know it's on DVD! GREAT! Maybe that'll be my next rental from Netflix! I wonder if Netflix also sells it? (for those who don't know, they also sell used DVDs)

I got my copy a couple years ago and I love it! I like watching the tv series, then the tv movie. It's interesting to see how they have changed over the years.

And as a bonus, it features Max's arch enemy (and friend) Sigfried! :D

Dave Ketchum also returned as Agent 13, in addition Siegfried, Starker and Larrabee.

After the insult to our intelligence that was "The Nude Bomb" this was a welcome reunion that gave us one last chance to see the classic cast together again.

13 was also in the Nude Bomb but, strangely, he was played by Joey Forman who was Harry hoo on the classic series

Yeah, I really like that scene too. Where Max and Hymie go to see Larrabee at Control.

L: "Oh, hi Max. Don't tell me you forgot my egg salad sandwich."
H: "Hello, Larrabee."
L: "Hymie. Great to see ya."
H: "Hard to believe. You never call, you never write.."
M: "Enough!" -- "Larrabee, what are you doing here?"
L: "Watering my plants."
M: "Watering your plant-- Larrabee! CONTROL's been out of business for 15 years."
H: "I heard that rumor too."
M: "What rumor? In 15 years have you received one letter? One phone call?"
H: "No, not one."
M: "Not you!" -- "In 15 years have you had one visitor? One memo?"
L: "I got a memo right here. I'll always cherish it. It's signed by the President."
H: "The President!"
L: "To stay at your post until relieved. Richard M. Nixon, President. Max, are you my relief? Cause I gotta get home."
M: "Larrabee, get your coat and your head and let's get outa here."

{I could keep going... LOL}

My (favorite) favorite scene is with Max and 99 in the resturant. ;)

on www.wouldyoubelieve.comthey say that the makers of "THE NUDE BOMB" refused to consult with Leanord Stern or anyone from the series; and that's why it turned out the way it did.
