It will begin airing as a digital sub channel starting in March. I googled it and only found a station in Chicago that airs this network. Do any other markets carry it? The programming looks very promising!

See bottom of this article from the local paper for the announcement: http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=715509

Something equivalent to RTN, it'll be in my area, and I don't have digital cable. That's... one of the few drawbacks of having satellite I guess.

This is from the same people who are doing ME-TV and ME-TOO in Chicago. so it wont be as bad as TVLand or RTN.

Hmmm... wonder if they're going to start making their service available for subchannels like RTN? That'd be great.

I'm glad that with networks like RTN and even Me-TV, Classic TV is able to carry on and continue to be shown. With TV Land declining so with 'recent' additions, it's good to see someone giving these good old shows the treatment and respect they deserve.

Press Release:

Me-TV COMING TO MILWAUKEE

Milwaukee, WI - How many Bradys made up the Brady Bunch? What was the name of Ben Cartwright’s ranch? Can you name the show that was set in a WJM newsroom? (Hint- the anchorman was Ted Baxter). Milwaukee can soon find out the answers to these questions and many more on Me-TV!

Me-TV, a new channel of classic television shows and sitcoms (Memorable Entertainment Television) will premiere in Milwaukee this March. Me-TV features programs ranging from Alfred Hitchcock Presents to The Wild Wild West and everything in between. “There is something for everyone who loves classic television,” said Jim Hall, General Manager of the Weigel Broadcasting Co. television stations in Milwaukee. “We are pleased to be able to bring Milwaukee a variety of television programs the whole family can enjoy.”

The Me-TV line up will feature over 40 different TV classics, with viewer favorites such as: Bonanza, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Knight Rider, Mary Tyler Moore, Little House on the Prairie, The Honeymooners, Get Smart, Rawhide, and the Odd Couple.

Milwaukee digital television viewers will be able to receive Me-TV over the air on digital channel 58.3. Time Warner Cable and Charter Communications will also carry Me-TV on the digital tier of their cable systems serving Southeastern Wisconsin.

ANSWERS: *There were 8 Bradys in the Brady Bunch. Ben Cartwright’s ranch was the Ponderosa. The Mary Tyler Moore show featured Mary working as an assistant producer at WJM-TV.

Me-TV joins the Weigel Broadcasting Co. family of stations in Milwaukee that include CBS58, WMLW, and Telemundo-Wisconsin.

What's ironic is that WMLW has been showing most those specific shows for years already, albeit only on weekends and late night. It will be nice to have more variety, but the HDTV users are upset that more bandwidth is being diverted away from the main CBS station to another subchannel.

ME-TV is on the air as of this morning! I just watched the pilot episode of Mork and Mindy. Most of the commercials are "classic" commercials from the 50's - 70's.
