I am racking my brain trying to remember the show this phrase came from. I know it was a governor or mayor or boss on a show similar to Benson. This character was a happy/smily short and chubby man, face kind of looked like Jerry Falwell. He would wave his hand at the person as he said it. He might not have said "Handle it Roy", it could have been some other name, but I just can't remember the show. Can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance!

This was a catch phrase from a show called Carter Country. It was about a sheriff, played by the side kick in Highway To Heaven (I can't remember his name).
The one who said it was the Mayor and he said it to Roy the sheriff.
I hope this helps somewhat.

...and Richard Paul played the mayor of Clinton Corners, Teddy Burnside, who delivered the line.
