...I just read an interesting post at the message boards on Amazon.com about TV LAND. Someone there said that they know someone who used to work there in the old days; but they quit when it was taken over by these young kids who have no real interest in showing "classic" shows anymore-hence; the mess that it's become, and why they cut up the few "classic" shows that they have, move them around so much, etc.
BUT; the person said you can go to their site and complain. Because; believe it or not; they DO read all the rants about them on here, their site, and others; and they DO listen.

Wow! Should we all go there & complain? Do you think it would do any good?

I don't know. You can complain all you want, but if they have their agendas to show useless crap, what is the point? One can read all the rants and complaints, but actually doing something abt it is another thing.

We seen the change coming little by little as we started seeing less classic shows and TVland adding Friday Night Movies and now this stupid High School Reunion, the introduction of Just Shoot Me. How abt we just shoot TVland?

Sooner or later, those hip young "kids" that could possibly be running TV Land are going to be referring to all television series that have aired before 1990 as "Legbacks".

*Legbacks-A dumb term referring to a TV series that aired pre-1990

while I agree that it probably won't do any good to complain, the fact that they've brought back "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES" proves that they DO listen-at least sometimes.
But, they still show shows cut up, that split screen, Friday Night Movies (which they also show on Saturdays now), reruns of "EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION", "JUST SHOOT ME", and all that other crap.
And, unfortunately; despite what that poster said; I highly doubt they'll stop all that.
