I can't believe they are still riding off the success of "Love Shack" and "Rock Lobster." I will always consider them a novelty act.

They were a campy cult party band, that was always their appeal, they just happened to get lucky and have a few really big hits. They're not one of my faves but they do have a lot of fun music and would be interesting to see what they'd have to record today
