Actually Agent 99 (Barbara Feldon) from Get Smart was. This show began a year before That Girl. [1965]

And it's also stated in a bonus feature on the dvd sets. People think it was MTM, but it was 99, even though she did eventually marry Max in S4.

(I like all three of these felmale characters though, btw.)
