Listening to this CD I got called Garage Beat '66 Vol.2: Chicks are for Kids
Its a garage rock comp with some pretty killer stuff from the mid 60's. The bands here include The Jynx, The Barbarians, The Sonics, The Five Americans, We The People, and The Gestures. There is also a Remains track called "Why Do I Cry" but this version is a demo that they recorded when they were auditioning for Capitol. This version I think is better than the Epic version.

Listening to a garage rock comp called Teenage Shutdown. This is a series featuring some pretty obscure tracks from various American bands circa 1964-67. No hits here but prime cuts from pretty much unknown bands like The Baracudas, The Other Half, The Yo Yos(who were on Memphis's Goldwax label, whom otherwise pretty much concentrated on soul), Thee Midniters(the one group here a few people might know about), Peter & The Wolves(during a snarling version of Them's "I Can Only Give You Everything"), and the Saxons.
